The Hope for Haiti, an organization formed to bring aid and comfort to Haiti following January’s devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake, plans to deploy its first reconnaissance mission from February 7 to February 14.
“Airports outside of Port-au-Prince are now re-opening in the earthquake-stricken country,” says Executive Director Andrew Putman. “The Hope for Haiti will provide medical and missionary support to the forgotten victims in those areas.”
The Hope for Haiti reconnaissance team will search for and set up a home base outside Port-au-Prince. Then TH4H will join organizations such as Hope International Medical Missions, Aslan Youth Ministries, and Global Samaritan Resources and bring aid and relief to the devastated nation.
“Haiti doesn’t just need help this week or this month,” Putman adds. “This will be a long-term, ongoing problem.”
