A Louisiana trooper was killed in a two-car collision last night (Jan. 12) near Moss Bluff, according to The Advertiser.
Trooper Duane Dalton was driving his unit south on U.S. Route 171 at approximately 7:30 p.m. when a driver pulled out in front of him.
The 39-year-old was a senior trooper with Troop D in Lake Charles and is survived by his wife and three sons.
